Senior Hydrogeologist


Mr. Woods is a Senior Geologist/Senior Project Manager with over 25 years of experience in subsurface/groundwater investigation, site characterization, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Woods’ experience includes detailed site characterization, geologic and geophysical/geotechnical evaluation and interpretation, surface water and groundwater monitoring, core, air and mud rotary drilling, auger drilling, and direct push drilling technologies, technical document preparation, multi-media sampling, hydrologic pilot testing, data evaluation and interpretation, development and enforcement of comprehensive health and safety programs, and interaction with the regulatory community. He has installed or supervised the installation of a variety of petroleum-related remediation systems, including, but not limited to: air sparge, soil vapor extraction, air stripping, dual-phase extraction, oxygen diffusion, and groundwater extraction/treatment technologies. Mr. Woods has performed in a managerial capacity for a variety of projects and investigations over the last 25 years including evaluations of petroleum-based and metals/minerals-based constituents. Specific tasks performed include: project management and budgeting, development and management of company health and safety programs, detailed technological document preparation, senior review of technical reports, and coordination of geologic and engineering staff, consultants, and onsite technical staff. Mr. Woods has personally installed and provided construction oversight on numerous process and remedial system projects in the western United States, the South Pacific, and northern Canada.
