Monte Smith, P.G. Senior Hydrogeologist

Monte brings 20 years of valued experience to our staff with a background in designing and operating water monitoring programs, teaching Geology at the university level, serving Montana as an environmental regulator, and collaborating on research and co-authoring publications related to sustainable energy development and hydrologic impacts of conventional energy development.  Monte earned a B.S. in Earth Science from Montana State University in 1988 and an M.S. in Geology from the University of Montana in 1992; he is currently licensed to practice as a Professional Geologist in the States of Washington and Wyoming.
