Mark is a Geologist and Geographic Information Systems Analyst. He has been with HydroSolutions since November 2000.  He has a broad range of project management experience including groundwater resource assessment and impact studies, geographic information system (GIS) map and database development, environment and resource mapping, and surface water and groundwater system interaction evaluation. Mark has completed introductory and advanced courses in Hydrologic Data Management and Contaminant Chemistry Transport in Soil & Groundwater. Mark received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Geology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from Rocky Mountain College.

Mark is currently expanding development of HydroSolutions’ environmental databases and mapping services, as well as guiding contaminant evaluation and transport projects. He supervises the development and implementation of project specific databases for clients as well as oversees the growing and changing needs of internal data support for the company. Mark has recently assisted in the development of the Vulnerability Analysis and diverse regional geologic and environmental databases. He conducts Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for ranch, industrial and private property owners and purchasers on a routine basis. He has also been involved with projects conducting hydrologic, geologic, and soils assessments around coal bed natural gas production, hard-rock mine reclamation, gravel mining operations, and a range of other projects.

Mark manages the GIS Division of HydroSolutions. He has been active in field work with HSI since November 2000 and continues to provide professional and technical field services. Mark is an active member of the Philosophy of Science Association and Geological Society of America.
