Fisheries Biologist and Environmental Policy Specialist
Leanne is a Certified Fisheries Professional through the American Fisheries Society and has over 18 years of experience working in natural resources consulting. Leanne manages environmental policy projects involving energy (hydropower, solar, oil, and gas), mineral development, land management, and transportation across the western U.S. She also conducts ecological surveys for fish and other aquatic organisms, riparian and wetland assessments, and mitigation planning. Her policy experience includes planning, public meeting facilitation, comment analysis, agency consultation, and compiling and editing large scale environmental impact statements and environmental assessments for federal agencies such as the BLM, BIA, USFS, FERC, US FWS, and state agencies including MT FWP, MT DEQ, MDT, ID DOT, MT DNRC, and OR Parks and Recreation.
